Barbara Harris Freeman

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Barbara Harris Freeman, 64, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Barbara was born on January 28, 1951 in Forsyth County to Charlie and Josie Edwards Harris. Barbara was of the Baptist Faith. She owned and operated several businesses in the Winston Salem area throughout her career.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Freeman, four brothers and one sister.

Surviving are five children, Lisa Robin Crabtree (husband, Ronald) of Winston Salem, Arthur Scott Freeman of Kings Mountain, Terry Dale Freeman (wife, Jennifer) of Winston Salem, Mark Anthony Freeman (wife, Mandy) of Madison and April Freeman Patterson (husband, Keith) of Westfield; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Wiles and Peggy White

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory - Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at the funeral home.
