Barbara Ann Brown Boger

Lewisville - Mrs. Barbara Ann Brown Boger, 69, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Barbara was born on November 12, 1946 in Forsyth County to Robert William and Mallie Bingham Brown. Barbara was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a love for others that far surpassed her height - especially when it involved her grandchildren! Barbara was well known for sharing her smiles and laughter wherever she went!
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry O. Boger; her best friend, Barbara Gregory; and a sweet canine companion, Penelope Rose.
Surviving are her son, Jerry O. ""Jay Jay"" Boger, II (wife, Kimberly); three grandchildren, Angela, Abby, and Kai; a great grandchild, Collin; her sister, Judi Griffin (husband, Randy); two nephews, whom she loved dearly, Randy Griffin, II and Scott Griffin; her sister-in-law, Dawn Boger; an ""adopted"" brother and sissy, Charlie and Fonty Hall; a host of special friends; and her fur babies, Molly and Bit-Bit.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Lewisville Chapel with Sammy Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at the funeral home.
