Avril McGee Peterson

Mrs. Avril McGee Peterson, 75, of Winston-Salem died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 24, 1935 in Beaver County, PA, the daughter of the late Robert Lewis and Helen Irene Irvin McGee. Mrs. Peterson was a member of Winston-Salem First. She enjoyed designing and making children's clothes and teaching ceramics. Most important, she has gone to be with her Lord. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Raymond L. Peterson of the home; one daughter, Sherri Peterson; one son Rob Peterson and wife, Melissa; and two grandchildren, Gray Padgett and wife Becky ,and Alexis Peterson all of Winston-Salem.one great-grandchild Kagan Shelby Padgett.
