Ava Lee McMichael

Belews Creek- Miss Ava Lee McMichael, 86 died Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was born July 29, 1927 in Forsyth Co., to the late Obie and Fannie Campbell McMichael.

During her working career she held several positions. She practiced nursing at Wake Forest Baptist Health and for 25 years she held the position of bookkeeper at McTron, Inc. Miss McMichael also had a tremendous love for her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Sue McMichael, Shirley Owens and Betty McNeil.

She is survived by three sisters, Helen Hester and husband, Jack of Kernersville, Velda Walsh of Belews Creek, Barbara Lunsford and husband, Joe of Belews Creek; one brother, Eddie McMichael and wife, Marie of Belews Creek and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Beth Woodard and Pastor Dan Lyons officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
