Kernersville- Infant Autumn Lynn Asbury, 9 days old, our butterfly passed away January 27, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born January 18, 2024, in Forsyth County, the daughter of Austin and Marissa Jones Asbury. Autumn was a true fighter, who was spunky and was a true Daddy’s girl. She brought light and happiness to all that were around her and even though her life was short, the impact that she made on our community and world will always be cherished.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Shannon Asbury; her maternal great grandfather, Henry “Bud” Cook and her paternal great grandparents, Diane Riddle and Gary Ellis.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Austin, and Marissa Asbury; her maternal grandparents, Kelly Jones, and James Jones, both of Winston-Salem; her maternal grandmother, Tracey Ellis of Winston-Salem; her maternal great grandmother, Linda Cook of Rural Hall; her paternal great grandmother, Linda Hutchens of Winston-Salem and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 5, 2024 in the mausoleum chapel at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Pastor John Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
