Auston Andrew Holmes

Mr. Auston Andrew Holmes 28, of Belews Creek , NC passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center . Auston was born on May 13, 1982 in Greensboro , NC to John Andrew Holmes and Shelia Gaines Holmes. Auston was employed by Triad Dental Laboratory. He was also an avid and talented Water sports enthusiast and competed in many Wake board and Skiing events, placing on Stage several times. He was also a talented artist and sculptor and many pieces will be kept and treasured by family. His many Friends and relatives from far and wide will miss this fine young man. Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his Grandparents Lewis and Vera Gaines of Greensboro , N.C. and John and Betty Holmes of North Myrtle Beach , S.C. He is survived by his loving immediate Family members Mother, Shelia Gaines Holmes of Belews Creek , NC . Father, John Andrew Holmes and wife Kim Long Holmes of Whiteville, N.C., Brother, John Solomon Holmes of Belews Creek , NC and Sister, Nora Nicole Holmes of Greensboro , NC. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 pm September 8, 2010 at the Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway , Winston Salem, NC. Conducted by the Reverend Chris Vogts. The family will receive friends in the chapel following the Memorial Service.
