Audrey Helen (Hain) Grim, 94, loving wife of James LeRoy Grim, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ., passed away peacefully at Bermuda Village, Bermuda Run, NC on Thursday July 29, 2021. Audrey was born July 17, 1927, to Florence and Roy Hain of West Reading, PA. In 1949, she graduated from Kutztown University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She returned home to share her love of learning as a third-grade teacher. She married Jim Grim on June 16, 1951. They celebrated their 70th anniversary this year, sustained by the same love they shared as newlyweds. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Hain. She is survived by her husband, James; son Dr. Mark H. Grim (Licia), and daughter, Ann G. Pippitt (Dr. Charles H. Pippitt, Jr.); grandchildren, Charles J. Pippitt (Megan), Lindsey A. Drew (Phillip), Dr. Laura B. Moore (Michael) and Sean T. Grim; great-grandchildren, Tatum, Hunter and Annsley Drew, Bryant and Tyson Pippitt and Maddox Moore. She also leaves behind a legacy through her many nieces and nephews. Audrey was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally, and they were a source of great pride and joy for her. She had a passion for singing, dancing, and reading, coupled with a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered as we wait to reunite with her in heaven. Due to Covid concerns, a memorial service for the immediate family will be held at Bermuda Run Country Club, Bermuda Run, NC on August 14, 2021.
