Audrey Ann Matthews

Mrs. Audrey Ann Matthews, 66, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 31, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on October 10, 1944 in Thomasville, NC. Ann was a faithful loving mother and will be truly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by husband Addis Ray Matthews; brother David Boyer; and parents. Ann is survived by her very special and close sister Sandy Anders and husband Rocky; two daughters Melanie Payne and Tammy Dunn and husband Bobby; son Kevin Matthews; grandchildren Travis Payne, Nick Pyrtle and wife Jessica, Kelly Pyrtle and fiancé Daniel Bishop and Kalee Galloway; and great grandchild Lexi Varker. A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM Friday September 2, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday September 3 at Yadkinville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
