Mrs. Audrey Willard Harrison, 91, of Winston-Salem died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Brookstone Terrace Nursing Home. She was born February 1, 1920 in Winston-Salem, the daughter of the late, Hubert Lemuel and Bertie Lee Craven Willard. Mrs. Harrison was an active member of Calvary Moravian Church. She was a member of the Winston-Salem Garden Club, The Red Hat Society, the Christian Women and The Rebecca's. Our mom loved going on drives to the mountains, her family, babies, red hats, being silly and her country. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Harrison; her sister, Jewell Hedgecock; her brother, Wayne Willard, her grandson, Adam Boney and her son-in-law, CW Austin. Survivors include one son, Danny Harrison ( Janet) of Winston-Salem; three daughters, Tara H. Boney (Jack) of Nashville,NC , Christi H. Austin (Butch) of Raleigh and Sherri H. Oldham (Wade) of Payson, UT; twenty one grandchildren, Allison B. Scott (Joe), Ashlyn B. Miller (John), Aron R. Boney (Allyn), Juli B. Stevens (Andrew), Jonathan A. Boney (Jennifer), Laura B. Wiggins (Chad), Hannah A. Arrington (Billy), Maggie C. Austin, Seth P. Austin, Megan O. Woolf (Corey), Jed D. Oldham (Tiffany), Katie L. Jenson (Dustin), Audrey E. Vane (Tye), Spencer W. Oldham, Willard M. Oldham, Harrison J. Oldham, Thomas M. Oldham, Burke A. Oldham, Ryan C. Lusk, Dustin C. Harrison (Christin) and Wesley D. Harrison; twenty seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Opal Manning, Wanda Tilley and Jo Cude (Donald) of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Norman Willard (Ada) of Winston-Salem and Van Willard (Barbara) of Asheville; and a special friend, Frances Swing of Winston-Salem. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM at Calvary Moravian Church with the Rt. Rev. Lane Sapp officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:30 until 8:30 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway.
