Aubrey James Collins

Mr. Aubrey James Collins went peacefully in the arms of Jesus on March 7, 2012 at his home. Aubrey was born in Forsyth County on June 22, 1931 to the late Tom and Bertha America Collins. He served his country in the US Army. Aubrey was a Sunday school teacher, Deacon, and worked with the RA's. He did a lot of wood working and was part of the Boy Scouts. Aubrey work for Mclean Trucking for 23 years. He is preceded in death by his brother Glenn Collins and sister Gladys Harris. Aubrey is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Imogene Collins; Son Randy Collins and wife Jo Ann; grandchildren Trip Collins and Jennifer Collins; great grandchildren Cai and Aubrey; brother Alfred Collins; and sister Joyce Foy. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday March 10, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
