Athleen Lockhart

Mrs. Athleen Morgan Lockhart, 87, of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born January 4, 1931 in West Virginia to Lee Roy and Eva Jane Lester Morgan. Mrs. Lockhart was a respected elementary teacher and retired from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County school system. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. Grammy especially enjoyed family gatherings during the holidays and hosting "cousin camp" every summer for her grandchildren as they grew up. She always brought her family joy, comfort, and never-ending love. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas J. Lockhart; two daughters, Pam Fulton (Randy) of Lewisville and Susan Bullock (Kevin) of Clemmons; a son, Joseph Lockhart (Selena) of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Anna and Adam Fulton and Abigail and Benjamin Lockhart and a brother, Rod Morgan. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
