Athene' Marie Rhoades

Miss Athene′ Marie Rhoades, 30, of Pfafftown, NC, passed away at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.  Athene was born in Valdosta, GA on May 19, 1991.  She graduated from Reagan High School in 2010 and was currently employed at corporate headquarters with Lowe’s Home Improvement.  Athene is survived by her beloved children, Gabriel Cross and Drayden Byrd; parents, Terry Rhoades (Jill) and Cheryl Darcy (Steven); and siblings, Justin Lay (Melissa), Kasie Grant (Stephen), Greg Rhoades (Kate), Charlie Rhoades, Ashley Rhoades, and Rachel Rhoades.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Jacob Lay, Dahlia Grant, Magnus Grant, Hutch Rhoades, Edith Rhoades, and Phil Rhoades; and partner, Zebediah Jordan.  A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Athene's legacy trust at the link below.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Miss Rhoades.
