Athena Louisa Georgoulias

Winston-Salem- Athena Louisa Georgoulias, 46, fell asleep in the Lord, Monday, October 23, 2024 at Kate B, Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 16, 1977 in Forsyth County, the daughter of George and Kiki Makris Georgoulias. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. Athena was a gift to all that knew her. She was a beautiful soul that inspired people to love, respect, and be the best version of themselves. Her soul is now free from the bonds of her earthly limitations. She is preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, Kiki Georgoulias; her brother, Chris Georgoulias (Sheryl); her nephews, Anthony, and Caleb Georgoulias, and her niece, Katie Georgoulias. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 28, 2024 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Demetri Kangelaris officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 435 Keating Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
