Arthur 'Art' Ronald Shively

Arthur Ronald Shively, 64, of Winston-Salem, NC a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Art was born February 2, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Ronald Emerson and Sallie Pugh Shively. He was a member of Griffith Baptist Church and was retired from Rexham, Industries. Art will be remembered as a person of integrity, humor and a lover of music. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife; Carlene Wiseman Shively of the home, a daughter Andrea Stimpson and husband Samuel of Winston-Salem, grand -daughter, Olivia ""Livi"" Stimpson, his brother; Tom Shively and wife, Beverley of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a special cousin, Bill Pugh of Quaker City, Ohio. The Shively family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tony Brown. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
