Arthur Ralph Miller, Sr.

Lexington- Arthur Ralph Miller, Sr., passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at his home. He was born to the late Ernest and Nona Mae Miller on December 17, 1928 in North Wilkesboro. Mr. Miller was a retired electrician. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Lexington. He is survived by his wife, Clara Teague Miller; son, Arthur Miller, Jr. of Lexington; daughters, Shirley Sweet and husband Stephen of Clemmons and Pamela Pettus and husband Ben of Lexington; grandsons, Shawn Sweet and wife Carrie of Clemmons and Jason Sweet and wife Amy of Lewisville; great-grandsons, Andrew, John Thomas, Carson, and Brady Sweet. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Ken Harris, Pastor T.W. Bailey, and Mr. C.A. Hartman officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
