Arnold Emory White, Jr.

Mr. Arnold Emory White Jr., 93, passed away peacefully at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on September 14, 2015. Arnold was born in Forsyth County on August 14, 1922 to the late Arnold White Sr., and Thelma Pleasants White. He was retired from AT & T with 29 years of service and was a nationally certified dental prosthetic technician. Arnold was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church and a current member of Crews United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by wife Naomi Rickard White; daughter Andrea White Seivers; son Stephen ""Steve"" White; a brother Robert ""Bob"" White; and two sisters Jean W. Smith and Nancy W. Gargano. Arnold was survived by son Arnold ""Dick"" White and wife Sandy of Elkin, NC; two daughters Joy White Sutton and husband Martin of Knoxville, TN and Carol White Gibbs and husband Skip of Lawrenceville, GA; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Crews United Methodist Church Cemetery.
