Argie Clinton Smith

Oak Ridge - Argie Clinton Smith, 79, a wonderful husband, and daddy who will be greatly missed, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was born March 13, 1932 in Guilford Co. to the late Clint Harrison and Nesbit Long Smith. Mr. Smith was self employed most of his career as a TV/electronics technician. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Betty Sue Tilley Smith, and his daughter, Karen Smith both of the home ; brother, Pastor Wade Smith and wife, Nora of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Alta Key of Trinity, and Betty Palmer of Greensboro. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Wade Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the funeral home.
