Ardaman Singh Madan

Mr. Ardaman Singh Madan, 78, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Madan was born in Rawalpindi, India on September 8, 1938, to the late Mehar Singh Madan and Harbans Kaur Madan. He was a graduate of Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh, India. Following graduation, Ardaman came to the United States in 1968 to attend Duke University. He earned his Master's Degree in Engineering from Duke University and worked in numerous capacities as a civil engineer for various companies. He lived in Charlotte and East Northport, NY before moving to Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Ardaman is survived by his wife, Prithpal Kaur Madan; one son, Raminder Singh Madan; two grandchildren, Kira and Elena; and one brother and one sister. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
