April Strickland

April Lynn Pampel Strickland, 41, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Pensacola, Florida, on January 31, 1981, to Richard Pampel and the late Debra Johnson Pampel. April was a kindhearted woman. She will be remembered for her immense love of animals; she adored her own pets and helped the lives of many animals that she fostered. April also enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family. She had been in school to become a counselor to help rehome children in need. She was a wonderful mother, and made others feel as though they were family too. April will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

As well as her father, April is survived by her husband, William Strickland III; Three children, Destiny Weil, Richie Weil, and Kaylee Weil; brother Richard Pampel and sister Cheyenne Pampel.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Guilford County Animal Services at 980 Guilford College Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
