Anthony Tony Wooten

Mr. Anthony ""Tony"" Garcia Wooten, 57, of Winston-Salem passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 6, 1953 in Forsyth County to John and Beulah Bunton Wooten. Tony was veteran of the U.S. Navy and a reservist for 20 years. He was a beloved husband and loving father. Tony was retired from the Veteran's Administration. Surviving are his wife, Viola Robertson Wooten; a son, Anthony Joshua Wooten; two brothers, Steve and Randy; a sister, Renee; a cousin, Jonathan Wall and an aunt, Mary Martin. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Military Rites by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
