Anthony Moretz

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Lewis Moretz, 62, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022. Tony was born May 26, 1959, in Grayson County, VA to Shirley Mae Brown Moretz and the late Lewis Kyle Moretz. Tony was a loving husband, father, and Pop-Pop who loved his family dearly. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Cheesehead and Carolina Tarheel fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Tulbert Moretz; three children, Heather Moretz, Derek Dancy, and Josh Dancy (Kim); four-grandchildren, Isiah, Jacob, Makayla, and Marshall; mother, Shirley Bennett; four siblings, Terry Moretz (Trish), Teresa Lawson (Terry), Sandy, and Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Kent Lyons; and five fur babies, Oreo, Mackenzie, Abby, Vinny, and Hershey. A Celebration of Life will be conducted 4:00PM Sunday, March 13, 2022, with Pastor Waymond Monroe officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Rural Hall Moravian Church, 7939 Broad St, Rural Hall, NC 27045.
