Annie Lou Polly" Reid

Mrs. Annie Lou ""Polly"" Roberts Reid, 77, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister that will be missed dearly. She was a member of Central Tabernacle Church. Mrs. Reid was born October 3, 1931 to the late Leonard and Nora Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clifton Reid, Sr. She is survived by her children, Teddy Reid, of Arcadia, Stacy (Trishia) Reid of East Bend, Junior (Jane) Reid of Smithfield, Bud Reid, Tammy (Ferg) Ferguson and Linda Newsom of Greensboro and a special son, John Hardy. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, and a special granddaughter, Ansleigh Belle Reid, several great grandchildren,, and a sister, Frances Thompson of Greensboro. The Family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 pm Friday, May 15 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.The Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, May 16 at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by the Rev. Sandra Bovender. Burial will follow in the Ridgeview Cemetery in Eden, N.C.
