Annette Smith Overby

Annette Smith Overby, age 52 passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her home after fighting a battle with cancer. She was born September 5, 1960 to Bobby Silvester and Betty Ashley Smith. Mrs. Overby was a member of Union Cross Moravian Church. She was employed with Caudill's Commercial Electric Company. Surving are her loving husband of 25 years, Norman Gray Overby, Jr. of the home, daughter, Alyssa Lynn Overby of the home, step daughter Elizabeth Overby and step granddaughter Kimberly Overby of Advance. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 9, 2012 at Union Cross Moravian Church with Rev. Don Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Kate B.
