Annette Norris

KERNERSVILLE – Annette Stafford Norris, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. Annette was born on October 26, 1941, in Forsyth County to Conard Fairsee and Ruth Tilley Stafford. She was a simple God-fearing woman who loved her family and enjoyed sharing her wonderful cooking creations with them.

In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Stafford and Tim Stafford.

Surviving are two sons, Tim Norris (Donna) and Chris Norris; one granddaughter, Shannon Walker (Ronnie); two great grandchildren, Gage and Callie Walker; one sister, Nancy Lopez; a niece, Michelle Strickland; and three nephews, Keith Brakefield, Greg Spaulding, and Paul Spaulding.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guilford County Animal Shelter, 980 Guilford College Road, Greensboro, NC 27409. Rather than having flowers, Annette would have rather see animals in need been taken care of.
