Annette Vanhoy Burgess

KERNERSVILLE-Annette Christene Vanhoy Burgess, ""Mama Burg"", 60, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 25th, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born November 14, 1951 in Forsyth Co. to the late Curtis Fulp and Betty Nelson Vanhoy. Mama Burg was a loving and caring individual, and her loss is one that will be felt by many. May her life, health and happiness be renewed in Heaven where she will live for eternity with her Savior. In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her sister-friend, Maledia Sue Cole. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Burgess of the home; her two children, Travis Lee Burgess, of Winston-Salem; and her daughter, Tiffany Christine Burgess, of Kernersville; also her brother, sister, aunts, uncle, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday, March 28th at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown with Rev. Steve Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 27th, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
