Anne Marion Peacock

Mrs. Anne Marion Peacock, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 12, 2022.  She was born in Forsyth County on August 19, 1964, to the late Royce Ray and Betty Ashley Marion.  Anne worked for Piedmont Airlines, US Airways, and American Airlines for 34 years.  She enjoyed horses, music, traveling, was artistic, a great cook, and never met a stranger.  Surviving is her husband of 37 years, Richard Peacock; daughter, Sydney Peacock; two brothers, Jack Marion (Linda York Marion) and Ronald “Rocky” Marion (Linda Holder Marion); two nephews, Jack Marion, Jr. and Matthew Marion (Laura); niece, Elizabeth Hunter (Wesley); also surviving are two great-nieces, Cheyenne Champion and Megan Poteat and her special dog, “Lucy Lou.”  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. John G. Rights officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:30 Saturday prior to the graveside at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Friedland Moravian Church, 2750 Friedland Church Rd.
