Anne Elizabeth Hodges

Ms. Anne Elizabeth Hodges, 80, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1932 in Forsyth County to Norman Fredrick and Marguerite Poe Foy. Ms. Hodges was a graduate of Gray High School. She was a member of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church where she was in charge of the altar flowers every Sunday. Surviving are her daughters, Beverly E. Orrell and husband Mike, Ashley H. Kitts and husband Garland; her grandchildren, Meredith and husband Rich, Marcus, Taylor, Ashton and Connor; a great granddaughter, Elly; and a sister, Rosemary Campbell and husband Forrest. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Wiseman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Memorials may be made to Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, 430 Weisner Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
