Anna Elizabeth Wolfe Allen died early Saturday morning, February 5, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on September 3, 1944 in Forsyth County to William James and Martha Beck Wolfe. Elizabeth was a member of Friedland Moravian Church where she served on the Boards of Elders and Trustees and various committees, was a member and past president of the Women's Fellowship, was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class, played in the band, and taught Bible study for the Women's Fellowship. Elizabeth was an elementary school teacher for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Clarence Allen; mother Martha Beck Wolfe; brother Robert Harry Wolfe; sister Rebecca Myers; step-mother Georgia Wolfe; and step-brother Herbert Pass. Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Patrick Martin Allen and wife Heather, and Rev. Matthew Wolfe Allen; two grandchildren, Daniel Martin Allen and Rachel Ann Allen; father William James Wolfe, Sr; two brothers, William James Wolfe, Jr. and Fredrick Martin Wolfe and wife Sarah; two step-brothers, Joshua Pass and wife Paula, and Gerald Pass and wife Mary; two step-sisters, Patricia Pass and Glenyce Roybal; brother-in-law Roger Myers; mother-in-law Sylvia Allen; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at Friedland Moravian Church with Rev. Carol Foltz officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
