Ann Reeder Harper

Ann Reeder Daniel Harper, 89, passed away peacefully at Brookridge Retirement Community on April 24, 2024. Ann was born on July 15, 1934, to Waverly Ashton Daniel and Lillian Reeder Daniel in Albemarle, NC. After graduating high school, she attended Duke University and graduated from the University of North Carolina. Ann moved to Winston-Salem to begin teaching elementary school, a job she loved (Moore Elementary 1959 – 1962, and Latham Elementary 1979 -2007) pausing her career only to raise her two beloved sons. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John Clifton “Cliff” Harper, Sr. and her grandson, John Dylan Harper. Surviving are her two sons, John Clifton Harper, Jr. and Ashton Daniel Harper, and her grandson Justin Daniel Harper. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Kevin Kilbreth officiating.
