WINSTON SALEM - Ann Lee Fulp, 91, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at her home. Ann was born on January 15, 1925 in Forsyth County to Earl Glaston and Mamie Alice Angel Fulp. Ann was a member of Stokesdale Christian Church and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco after 37 years of service, becoming the first woman supervisor. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, and many other outdoor activities. Later in life, she enjoyed spending time at her lake house on Badin Lake with friends and family, water skiing, fishing, and cooking out.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by two sisters, Carleen Parker and Betty Johnson; two brothers, Ed and Jim Fulp; and a nephew, Douglas Parker.
Surviving are one sister, Bonnie B. Fulp; a special friend, Mary Charles; two nephews, Michael Parker of Winston-Salem, and Jim Parker of Oak Ridge; one niece, Debbie Smith of Tyro; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to caregiver/family member Sandra Parker for many years of excellent care.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Stokesdale Christian Church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
Memorials in Ann's name may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
