Ann Sterett Fritz

Ann Sterett Fritz, 74, born September 18, 1935 in Louisville, KY, passed away on the morning of August 26, 2010 at her beautiful home in Pfafftown, NC, surrounded by her loving family. Dewey, as she is fondly known, was dedicated to improving the lives of others through her hospitality, strength and determination. This was evident through her work in nursing homes in Charlottesville, VA and Winston-Salem. She was a phenomenal homemaker and gardener making everything beautiful. She delighted in her dog, Aya and, she took joy in working hard for those she cared about. Her family and church community will remember her for her kindness, non-judgmental attitude and unconditional love. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Lenora West Green and her sister Betty West Green. She is survived by her son, David Fritz of Rockville, MD, his wife Evelyn and their three daughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Jacqueline and also by her daughter, Amy Richards, her husband Craig and their daughter Katherine. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Unity Church of Winston-Salem.
