Ann Cheshire

Mrs. Ann Butler Cheshire, 90, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. Ann was born in Duplin County, NC on September 4, 1932, to the late Reden Butler and Ruth Batts Butler. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem as long as her health permitted. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Miller and second husband, Winfred Cheshire. Ann is survived by her brother, Fred Butler of Knoxville, TN; sister, Sara Armstrong (Edward) of New Bern, NC; niece, Deanna Brown (Chris); and nephew, Jerry Butler (Tami). A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association-Western Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Rd. #250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
