Ann Hartman Barnhardt

Mrs. Ann Hartman Barnhardt, 81, of Advance, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home. She was born March 26, 1931 to Lewis Edward and Ollie Mock Hartman. She was a longtime member of Advance United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by brothers, Lewis, Alvin, Henry, and Robert Hartman and sisters, Mabel Bailey, Sally Bailey, Lizzie Marsh and Mary Hartman. Surviving are her husband, George Barnhardt; a daughter, Becky Barnhardt Clutts and husband, Bobby; a son, Steve Barnhardt and wife, Teresa; three grandchildren, Matthew Clutts and wife, Kimmie, Morgan Barnhardt and Jacob Barnhardt; two sisters, Bet Barnhardt and Maggie Carter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Advance United Methodist Church Rev. Cheryl Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Advance UMC, P.O Box 2021, Advance, N.C. 27006 or to Hospice and Palliative Care Center Davie County, 377 Hospital Street, Mocksville, N.C. 27028.
