Ann Louise Brown Adams, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Beacon Place Hospice and Palliative Care in Greensboro. She was born in Stokes Co. on September 20, 1941, the only child of Bynum Odell Brown and Frances Matilda Epperson Brown. Ann retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co with over 25 years of service. She loved artwork, drawing and making ceramics. Ann enjoyed traveling and in her younger years enjoyed bowling. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ann is survived by a daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Adams Cooper (Paul) of Pfafftown; a son, Joe “Joey” Vaughn Adams, Jr. (Helen) of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Devin Slate, Gillian Cooper, Jessica Foote Adams and Elizabeth Vargas; three great-grandsons, Arson Barbour, Ethan Vargas and Cameron Vargas. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 prior to the graveside service at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
