Anita Frances Lyerly Mullis

Mrs. Anita Frances Lyerly Mullis, age 76 of Advance, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  She was born April 18, 1947 in Rowan County to the late Eubert Walter Lyerly and Ruby Frances Brown Lyerly.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Dean Mullis in July of 2021.  She is survived by her son, Kevin Mullis (fiancée Jana Smith) of Advance; one sister, Renea Julian (Alan) of Salisbury and one brother, Terry Lyerly (Sheila) of Cleveland.  A visitation for family and friends will Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
