Anita Jarvis Cavanaugh

Mrs. Anita Jarvis Cavanaugh, 70, passed away on June 21, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on August 2, 1945 in Forsyth County, NC to Clarence and Hester Cook Jarvis. Anita enjoyed cross stitching but mainly had a great passion for NASCAR racing and her favorite driver was Dale Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, William Cavanaugh, Sr.; her son, Billy Cavanaugh (Jackie); two grandsons, Billy Cavanaugh (Leah) and Christian Cavanaugh (Kelsie); three great grandsons, Jaxon Cavanaugh, Jonathan Cavanaugh and Jase Cavanaugh; a sister, Bernice Autry (Gene) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 25, 2016 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Charlie Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
