Angelo Peter Leto, Sr.

Angelo P. Leto Sr, 48 died October 21, 2008, after a courageous battle with bladder cancer. Born on April 4, 1960 in Hollywood, FL he grew up and spent most of his life in Broward County, attending Nativity School and Graduating from Hollywood Hills High School, during his time at Hollywood Hills High, he formed and was the lead singer in ""The Remaining Gang"" band. Angelo was in the Construction business from the age of 13 and received his General Contractors license in 1987, and he remained in the field his entire life. Angelo was very active in his community and loved life, he loved to laugh, and his sense of humor was contagious. In 2007 upon learning of his illness he moved to Winston-Salem, NC and with the love and support of his wife Karen, and his best friend Rubin Pacheco, started cancer treatment at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Angelo is survived by his loving and devoted wife Karen, his 6 children Jessica, Joseph, Angelo, Nicholas, Isabella and Joshua, two step-children Michael and Heather Carr, and a grand-daughter Adrianna, his loving parents Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Leto Sr. of Lake Worth, 2 brothers Mr. Peter J Leto Jr. and wife Bethany of Ft. Lauderdale, and Mr. Paul J. Leto and wife Kris, of Lake Worth, a sister Mrs. Annemarie Luca and husband John of Coconut Creek, a Great Aunt Ms. Helen Vandermark of Coral Springs, an uncle Mr. John A. Leto Sr. and wife Joan, of Davie, an aunt Mrs. Pricilla Gover and husband Gary, of Westfield, MA, as well as many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. One of Angelo's favorite songs was ""My Way"" by Frank Sinatra, and that is the way he lived his life. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday November 1, 2008 at 2:00PM at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, Winston-Salem, NC as well as an additional Memorial Service at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Lake Worth, FL on November 15, 2008.
