Angelina Lainez Banegas

Mrs. Angelina Lainez Banegas, 89, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. She was born in Honduras on January 27, 1931, to the late Dionisio Lainez and Lorenza Banegas. She moved to the US twenty years ago with her family.

In addition to her parents, Angelina is preceded in death by her husband, Faustino Hernandez-Cabrera. Surviving are six daughters: Silvia and husband Sergio of Honduras, Juanita Maria and husband Oscar of Winston-Salem, Reyna Isabel and husband Julian of New York, Iris of Winston-Salem, Victoria of Winston-Salem, and Maria Del Carmen of Winston-Salem; four sons: Felipe and wife Rosamelia of Winston-Salem, Jose Octavio and wife Marlen of Winston-Salem, Gustavo of New York, and Angel and wife Mayra of Winston-Salem; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2020, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, officiated by Pastor Juan Alberto Bonilla. The family will receive friends Friday, August 14, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Iglesias Casa Para Todos/La Roca.
