Mrs. Angeliki Kyrikos Paparoupas, 85, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at her home. She was born August 15, 1924 in Karpenisi Euretanias, Greece. Mrs. Paparoupas was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Evangelos Paparoupas. Surviving are a daughter, Soula Ballas (husband Gus) of Winston-Salem; two sons, Hristos Paparoupas (wife Spiridoula) of Athens, Greece and Stefanos Paparoupas (wife Dimitra) of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren, Tommy Ballas, Angelo Ballas, Maria Valentino, Evangelos St Paparoupas, Angeliki St Paparoupas, Evangelos Hristos Paparoupas, Angeliki Hristos Paparoupas, Konstantinos Hristos Paparoupas and Ioanis Hristos Paparoupas; five great grandchildren; one brother, Panagiotis Kyrikos and two sisters, Fotini Anatolitis (husband Evangelos) and Ioana Chigou, all of Athens, Greece. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday with a trisagion service at 7:30 p.m. at the Greek Orthodox church. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Demetri Kangelaris, Fr. Thomas Guerry, Fr. George Kiricopies and Fr.
