Angela Carr

Angela Whitley Carr, 83, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Saturday April 23, 2022, at K.B. Reynolds Hospice Home after an extended illness.

She was born March 1, 1939, to the late Peter Auckland Strong and Kathleen Beaver Strong, in Watford United Kingdom and moved to Winston-Salem N.C. in 1963.

Angela was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Carr. She leaves behind her 2 sons, Andrew Edward Carr (Madelene), and Stephen Daniel Carr; and her 2 grandsons, Alexander Carr, and Nicholas Carr.

Angela was a long-time resident of Salemtowne Retirement Community and a member of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church. Angela loved to sing in the Winston-Salem Symphony Chorus and was a 50 plus year and founding member of Lawndale Garden Club. A family memorial service to be announced at a later date.
