Kernersville - Mr. Andrew John Sabo, 91 passed away July 17, 2009 at his residence. Andrew loved his family, enjoyed gardening, and was extremely proud of his work at Westinghouse Electric Co with 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Madeline Viarengo Sabo, and a son David Sabo. Surviving are, three daughters; Deborah of Kernersville, Denise of Summerfield, Diane Sabo of Carnegie, Penn., and a son, Douglas Brian Sabo of Charlotte. Nine grandchildren; Leslie and Ian Frey, Marshall and Madeline Sabo, Erin Regan, Andy Sabo, Alexandra Sabo, Lindsey Hepler, and Donnie Benfield and six great grand children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Joseph Tustin O.S.F.S. at 11:00 am Monday, July 20, 2009 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kernersville. The family will receive friends one hour prior Monday at the church. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Sabo family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Holy Cross Catholic Church at 616 South Cherry Street Kernersville, NC 27284, or to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Winston Salem, at 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
