Andrew Cabel Jones

Jamestown – Andrew Cabel Jones, 21, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born on June 16, 2002, in Forsyth County to Leslie Ann  Jones and Timothy Edgar Jones.  Andrew was a junior at North Carolina State University, majoring in Animal Science, pursuing his lifelong dream of Veterinary Medicine.  In addition to his education, Andrew was employed by Northwood Animal Hospital in High Point as a Vet Technician, where he was continuing to gain knowledge and experience to further his dreams. 

Andrew loved his family, friends, and his music, but had a special passion for his rescues, Cassie and Harley.  Andrew was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed by so many.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pam and Robert Baggett;  his maternal grandfather, Tommy Stewart; and his paternal grandfather, Carlie Jones;  step-grandfather, Jerry Glaze.

Cherishing his memory are his mother, Leslie Ann Jones(Robert Cline); his father, Tim Jones (Debbie); sister, Bailey Jones; brother, Matthew Jones; step-sister, Reese Barker; step-brother, Dalton Barker; step-brother, Jaden Cline; nephew, Tatum Jones; a paternal grandmother, Marlene Jones; a step-grandmother; Diane Glaze; a maternal  grandfather, Pat Tillotson(Vicky); three uncles, Marty “Roger” Jones, Justin Stewart (Charlene), and Bobby Baggett; three aunts, Jordan Swaim (Jason), Delana Duffield(Mike), and Amy Gira(Michael); along with numerous special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, September 11, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Michael Gira officiating. The interment will be at Gardens of Memory – Walkertown following the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
