Amie Sifferlen of Rural Hall, passed away peacefully with her husband, McKinley at her side on September 23, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Amie was born October 6, 1981, in Prince George County, Maryland. She graduated from North Davidson High School in 1999, and in October of that year gave birth to her daughter, Kailey. On June 7th, 2008, Amie married the love of her life, Mack Sifferlen. In May of 2011, Amie gave birth to their son, Eben “Beau”. Amie touched the hearts of everyone that met her. She was beautiful inside and out. Her caring, courageous, loving spirit impacted so many. She aspired to become a nurse, and in 2017, was pinned as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Forsyth Technical Community College. She worked at Carolina Pain Institute for Clinical Research as a Manager and loved her job. Amie loved going on camping trips and concerts with her husband, Mack. She loved her children, Kailey and Beau, dearly and was there, smiling through every achievement they had. That love was apparent from the twinkle in her eyes whenever she looked at them. She was so excited to become “Lulu” to her first grandson, due in November and loved to tell everyone about him. Besides spending time with her friends and family, Amie had a passion for helping others, dancing and music, being creative, and making people laugh with her goofy personality. Amie is survived by her husband, Mack Sifferlen; children, Kailey Morganelli and husband Michalee and Beau Sifferlen; her father, Ray Shires; her in-laws, Mary and Eben Sifferlen; and numerous other family members and friends. Special love and thank you to “Aunt Deb” who helped with Amie’s care during her illness. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, October 16th, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the home of Mary and Eben Sifferlen. In lieu of flowers, the family of Amie Sifferlen requests that memorial donations be made to her son, Eben Beau Sifferlen. A fund has been established for him through First Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 567, King, NC 27021.
