Amie Burns

Ms. Amie Marie Burns, 47, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020.  She was born at Forsyth Medical Center on August 14, 1973, to Kenneth and JoAnne Burns.  Amie is survived by her loving daughters, Santana and Christian Burns; grandbabies, Ma”Leigha, Kendriona, Elijah, and Blueberry; sisters, Sandra Burns and Kathy Rose; three nieces, many cousins, and other loving relatives.  She is also survived by the man in her life, Kevin Hart.  Amie was truly one of a kind, beautifully unique, and a loving mother whose love was unconditional.  Amie was a strong woman who endured many battles.  She was feisty with a beautiful soul.  She had a smile and laugh that was infectious.  Her heart was enormous, and she touched numerous lives and made a lot of precious memories.  Amie is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  May she rest in peace with her only son, Todd Mitchell Smith, Jr., and other loved ones who went before her.  Until we are all together again, this is not goodbye, just see you later!  We Love ya, Love ya, Love ya all the time Momma!  A private family memorial service will be held for Ms. Burns.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Ms. Burns.
