Amelia Randolph Pouliot

KERNERSVILLE - Amelia Randolph Pouliot, born April 6, 1955, deceased November 21, 2014. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She always put others before herself, making sure needs were cared for in every way. Her passions were doing the Lord's work, going to church at Triad Baptist Church, being with family, and feeding them. She retired from MedCost after more than 20 years of service. She was an excellent cook. She was a great example of a true Southern lady.

Amelia was preceded in death by her father, Briscoe Randolph.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Raymond Pouliot; her children, Renée Pouliot Bridges (spouse Jim Bridges) and Stephen Christopher Pouliot (spouse Kristi Pouliot); grandchildren Uriah Christopher Pouliot and Logan Samuel Pouliot; her mother , Mae Randolph; brother David Randolph (spouse Debbie Randolph); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We rejoice that she is not in pain or suffering, and all of her last wishes have been honored. She is with the Lord now. We are at peace because she is at peace, and our Lord gives us peace. Heaven has gained another precious angel!

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Triad Baptist Church with Dr. Rob Decker officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
