Amanda Michelle Craven

Amanda Michelle Craven, 40, of High Point, NC passed away 7:00 am on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at High Point Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1982 in Cleveland, OH to Edward Workman and Carol Harling.

Amanda was very compassionate and loved helping others. As a young girl, she helped her Daddy feed the homeless. As an adult, she enjoyed spending time with and helping elderly friends and relatives. She was high spirited and loved to create, making crafts, playing games with her family, cooking many different types of food to be shared with friends and family, and decorating and surprising people during holidays. As a mother and wife, she had the hardest, most important job in the world.

Mrs. Craven is survived by her husband Patrick Morton Craven and children, Michael, Johnathan, Michelle, and Patrick (Lil P) of High Point, NC; father, Edward Workman and wife, Janet; mother, Carol Harling Rose; brother, Clifford Workman and wife, Jennifer; sister, Crystal and husband Steve Haas; sister, Ava Workman; nieces, Abigail, Zadey, Zoey, Faith, Emily, Blair, and Karson; nephews, Jacob, Caleb, and Ziggy; brother-in-law, Rev. Charles Craven and wife, Lindee; brother-in-law, Ronnie Hill and wife Tammy; father-in-law, John Craven and wife Brenda; and puppy-dog Buster.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Craven officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
