Alma Josebell Collins

Ms. Alma Josebell Collins, 83, passed away December 4, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born September 13, 1932 in Wilkes County to the late Olcie Lincoln Collins and Dessieree Blackburn Collins. She was a longtime member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Collins, Bobby Collins, and Bid Collins. Ms. Collins is survived by her son, James Callahan; a grandson, Noah James Collins; three brothers, Lawrence Collins, David Collins (Missy), and Danny Collins; a sister, Lindy Kirby (Donnie); special friends, Deanna Shoaf and Ruth Cockerham. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Roberson and the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
