Allen Gray Lowe

Mr. Allen G. Lowe, 73, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 with his family by his side. He was born in Forsyth Co. on April 13, 1938 to the late Ben and Violet Allen Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Krystal Lowe and a brother, Tommy Lowe. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia F. Lowe of the home, a daughter, Dawn Holder (Ray), two sons, Phillip Lowe (Jessica) and George Lowe, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Virginia Lowe and a brother, Larry Lowe (Betty) and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Rural Hall Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Woodland Baptist Church, 1175 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106 or Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
