Alice Weaver

Mrs. Alice Marie Davis Weaver, age 81 of Lexington, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at The Oaks at Forsyth.  Mrs. Weaver was born December 23, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Basil Reginald Davis and Frances Ledford Davis.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lloyd Weaver and two grandchildren, Stephen and Laura. Surviving are a son, Carl Wilkins, Jr. and wife Patty of East Bend; three daughters, Debbie Williard and husband Steve of Winston-Salem, Susan McIntosh and husband Alvin of Kernersville and Christine Locklear and husband Amon of Winston-Salem; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Joan Voss and husband Harold and one brother, Basil Davis, Jr.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2018 at Friedland Moravian Church by Rev. Wayne Byerly.  Burial will follow in the church graveyard.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
