Alice Arlene Mullins McPeak

Mrs. Alice Arlene Mullins McPeak, 84, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1938, in McDowell County, WV to the late McKinnley and Dathal Mullins. Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, shopping, and going to the internet café. Alice never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Maxwell “Mack” McPeak; two grandsons, Billy Jackson, Jr.and David Arrington; and three sisters, Vinney Green, Violet Boyd, and Marilyn Cheeks. She is survived by her three children, Kathy Jackson (Billy), Michael McPeak (Diane), and Steven McPeak (Tracy); 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; three siblings, Linda Shotto, Louie Mullins, and Jimmy Willhite; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday May 24, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Omar Burns officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Bluefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday May 24, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
